Welcome to My Latest Gingerly Pursuit

Hi there. If you are someone who knows me, you know that I have a lot going on - in my head and in my life - at all times.  So it makes perfect sense to add one more thing to the list, right?  You also probably know that any story I tell is long and full of "ums" and sidebars.  So thankfully for you, I am a way better writer than I am a verbal story teller.  And thankfully for me, there are people that like me enough to listen to my stories (or pretend to anyway).

My intention with this blog is not to share diary-like entries that splurge sappy tidbits of personal T.M.I.  However, I have experienced, accomplished, learned, and discovered a lot of things so far in my short 33 years and I believe these things are worth talking about.  I was getting frustrated trying to come up with a name for this blog, so I started thinking about what makes me ME.  First words that came to mind: my hair.  Then I started to think about my interests - and I have a lot of those. But when it comes down to it, I've centered my life around 3 things (besides the obvious faith, family, and friends):   

1. Music
2. Staying motivated
3. Math (I figured that has to be one considering that's my career)

And so the blog name was born.
